Our experience with Napa Vacation Bungalow exceeded expectations from the very beginning!

The rental process was simple, and any questions I had about the property were answered immediately. It was a nice way to start what was to be one of the best vacations we have ever had.

I chose Napa Vacation Bungalow based on the terrific website, photos, and stellar reviews - and, when we finally arrived, the house was even lovelier than expected. It is perfectly appointed, and we did not want for anything. Everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to bath amenities, to entertainment and internet access, was provided.

We were met by Dori, the property manager, when we arrived. She was lovely, and gave us a thorough description of the house, the area, as well as suggestions for where to eat, and local activities that we might enjoy. She was there when we needed anything, and her bubbly personality was the perfect welcome to our arrival.

Location is everything, and the house is situated in the perfect spot. A short walk to downtown Napa, which includes the developing riverfront, a number of excellent restaurants and wine bars, entertainment, and a public market; and an easy drive to the heart of Napa wineries (Oakville, St Helena, and Calistoga). Sonoma, the Pacific coast, and the gorgeous Alexander Valley/Dry Creek region. And, after a day of exploring, wine tasting, galleries, and shopping, there wasn't anything better then returning to the house to cook and enjoy dinner outside under the stars.

The cottage provides nice privacy from the main house.

The kitchen was very well stocked and the living areas were great for group dinners and other gatherings. By being within walking distance of the Bounty Hunter and other downtown spots the location of this property makes it easy to make your way home after an evening of tasting Napa's finest. This bungalow is better than the description!

It is walking distance to Old Town Napa and still in a very quiet neighborhood. It has everything one might want or need for wine tasting or gourmet cooking. The house is tastefully decorated and is very comfortable. We had the chance to meet the owner and the property manager and they are both adorable, providing excellent customer service. It’s like being at your own mini-resort.

A beautiful, clean home full of every convenience possible. Close enough to the wineries and great restaurants in downtown Napa, but without the 'busy' of town. The decks, private landscaped yard, grill and hot tub make for a perfect retreat after a day of visiting the wineries. The owners are very accommodating and helpful from signing contracts to arranging check in/out times and anything else you might need. You can’t ask for a better place to vacation!” - Lauren, NYC

The house is beautiful, and very reasonably priced for the amount of space.

It's decorated with great attention to detail, and you can tell it has been remodeled with care (not to be just a "rental property"). The photos displayed as artwork are all original... you can even purchase pieces to take home with you! There's plenty of space to relax and unwind; four porches, guest house, gardens, library area for reading and relaxing plus a hot tub to really unwind. When we go back to Napa again, we will definitely try to stay there.

My extended family and I spent a week in mid-June 2008 at this great bungalow in Napa. It's tucked away on a quiet street in a semi sleepy part of town. Close enough to downtown, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The main house has a great shower/bathroom and the living space was open and airy. The house was VERY CLEAN. Comfy beds and furniture. The owners are very attentive and available.

It's obvious the owners are artists -- every attention to detail in the house was masterful, and the result is an environment that is soothing, warm and inviting.

It was exactly as advertised: Remodeled, well-equipped and furnished, clean, excellent location, and entirely comfortable. We went for a self-created writing retreat and this was the perfect place: A large dining room table for us to work, eat, and visit at, in the center of the house. My friends are foodies and there wasn't an amenity or gadget that we couldn't find in the kitchen. It was wonderful having our own bathrooms. My two girlfriends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this bungalow.

Dori, the greeter, met us at the property when we arrived and then again when we checked out, and was most pleasant and helpful, making the process both comprehensive and efficient.

We loved the backyard and the hot tub and how the lights in the trees twinkle at night. One of my friends and I made frequent walking trips to town and found it to be the perfect distance. We would definitely recommend this to anyone, and hope to return and make it an annual writing retreat.

I would highly recommend this house!

Our group traveled from all parts of the US to spend the weekend in Napa and our stay at Bill and Paul's bungalow was key in making our trip a great experience. They have thought of every detail to make their guests comfortable.

The house is beautifully decorated and spotless and is set up in a manner conducive for socializing. We especially enjoyed the backyard spa and BBQ. The house is stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, bathrooms, office, etc. Plus, it is centrally located and convenient to all the activities we did while in Napa. - Sheryn, NY

We were so lucky to find this wonderful home.

Bill and Paul are the best. They were both there to greet us when we checked in to make sure we could find everything we needed. Their level of detail is extraordinary! The finest five-star hotels could learn a few things from these two. This home is totally stocked with everything you need to enjoy a home away from home. The hot tub is so inviting after a hard day at the wine tours! Not to mention the linens and down comforters to slip in between at night.

Bill and Paul have described their home very well in this listing, but you really have to see the home to appreciate it. It is nestled in a very quiet neighborhood, yet so close to all the conveniences. We highly recommend this home. We hope to stay here again! - Debbie, Greensboro, GA

We had an awesome time at this vacation rental home.

It was nice to be able to prepare our own meals and not go out every night. The house is situated near everything and you can easily walk downtown. Also the hot tub is a nice feature and allowed us to unwind with a glass of wine after dinner and trekking in the valley. The home looks newly decorated and tastefully done, I might add. It came equipped with everything we needed.

Dori, the host, is also excellent. She had info for pretty much everything in Napa and also has connections and recommendations for Napa and the area. We would definitely recommend this property to family and friends. Don't hesitate to book it - we wish could have stayed another week.

Wow, I cannot say enough about this house or its owners!

The property is beautiful. The yard gives an amazing zen-like feel. There was nothing I needed as the house is stocked with everything. The design in the house is beautiful and the artwork makes the house feel upscale. I would stay in this house again in a heartbeat. -  Sydney, New Market, MD

The property is ideally located close to the highway and downtown. We were in town for a wedding and family reunion and shared the property with my parents. The layout could not have been better. Everyone was able to enjoy the living spaces and also have complete privacy in their sleeping quarters.

We all loved the patios and garden. It was quiet and private and the flowers smelled divine. The property owners have thought of everything. There were more than enough nice towels, pillows and linens for all. The kitchen is nicely outfitted with quality cookware. Our time spent at this home was fantastic!

Our stay in Napa was just as close to perfect as any holiday can be!

The house was just fantastic - wonderful attention to detail - incredibly peaceful and serene backyard - fabulous hot tub. Perfectly located - an easy walk into the town of Napa and an easy drive to many more wonderful places in the Napa Valley and beyond.

The home was extremely clean and had every amenity that you would need.

We had an incredible time in Napa - and this vacation bungalow had a lot to do with it. The description and photos on the website were very accurate. The owners responded to email inquiries promptly; they provided great suggestions on things to do in Napa and surrounding areas.

This was a girls getaway - we toured during the day and came home at night to cook dinners, sip wine, listen to music, and relax on the deck or in the jacuzzi. My family and I recently stayed in Bill and Paul's bungalow, and found it to be perfect for our needs!

Six adults comfortably stayed for a week without any problem. The house was nicely furnished and the kitchen had everything we needed for meal preparation. The location was ideal - a close walk to downtown Napa, and an easy drive to both San Francisco and wineries throughout the region. Having a home to go back to at the end of each day was so much more pleasant than hotel rooms and the perfectly landscaped backyard and spa were a definite bonus! - Christine, Kansas City, MO

This home is well stocked with fine linens, plenty of stemware for tasting, and has a very sweet, very private back yard.

We often listened to the fountain, watched the birds in the evening, and ended our day with a soak in the sparkling clean hot tub. We four girlfriends found the location, accommodations, ambience and comfort special, indeed. The entire home shows an exceptional attention to the remodel, and the furnishings are lovely. Although the owners do not live locally, we met them by chance when we arrived in town early. They graciously called again later in the week to check on our comfort. What a great place to stay while touring wine country.

A group of friends traveled to spend an extended weekend and could not have asked for a better location and house. Everything was provided... a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, fluffy towels, a shaded backyard with a cozy deck, and a hot tub. (To name a few!)
